Surpassing laser printers in speed, the GX7000 with the Ricoh™ engine is a streamlined desktop unit, with sensible and simple design features, like the LCD panel placed over the cartridge panel, all easily accessible by operators. Our ICC Profiles support Windows Servers (2003/2008), Vista, XP and 2000 (64-bit versions also available) and Macintosh OS, versions 10.3+. A Gel ink printer, it uses special formula ink in a bag in cartridge set. No bulk feed system needed.

This mid-range desktop printer will amaze you with capability and versatility. If you have been using the Epson C86, C88, 1280, 1400 or R1800 it is time to upgrade. A four-color printer means you only have to purchase 4 cartridges, enabling a savings in initial purchase ink cost. The simplicity of the ink delivery system means cartridges are easily inserted and there are less clogging issues. Easy Flow™ or Quick Connect™ systems are unnecessary as the ink delivery system is built-in. The DyeTrans GX7000 is expandable by adding additional paper trays. The base unit allows printing up to 11" X 17"; with the addition of the Multi Bypass Tray the printing parameters increase to 13" X 19". Adding the Paper Feed Tray creates three possible paper paths, enabling you to load this wicked fast printer with three different sizes of paper at once, thereby increasing your shop output in such a way as to meet the demands of your business, whether you operate a brick and mortar shop, work at home with an internet website or travel about in a recreational vehicle.

The only glitch was my color settings in Photoshop. I have never been able to print anything directly from PS to any printer with proper color, so she set mine up to print with the profile.
