After repeated requests for this service, we have decided to offer print and transfer services to our distributors and current Conde customers to help them serve their customers better. If the distributor has a request that is a little too big for him to handle, or he has temporary equipment problems, or the distributor might want to offer products that are too large (floor mats, bath towels, baby blankets, Large ChromaLux Panels, etc) for his current equipment to handle, Condé Systems can help.

Our experience in this market, supporting large production customers, color management, product knowledge, etc. make us uniquely qualified to provide this much needed service to the distributor/sublimator network.

Artwork Requirements and special fees

File Formats accepted:

.pdf - Portable Document Format
.cdr - CorelDraw ™ (version X3 or lower)
.eps - Encapsulated Postscript
.psd - Adobe Photoshop
.tif - TIFF bitmap
.jpg - Jpeg bitmap
.bmp - bitmap

Client (Distributor) is responsible for all artwork releases, permissions and licenses.

Resolution
Vector files in the native graphics format are preferred over bitmaps, especially if enlarging a graphic for wide-format output. Include fonts or convert fonts to curves.

All submitted raster/bitmap files should be 150ppi to 200ppi* at print size. 150ppi is usually acceptable if transferring to fabrics. 200ppi is better for transferring to Unisub and other hard substrates. If it is a bitmap file, Tiffs are preferred. * Resize image in Photoshop to the intended print size without "resampling" it to determine ppi (pixels per inch).

Color
Please use the RGB color space when creating new graphics and when submitting any and all artwork. Digitally captured or scanned photos default to RGB color. We will certainly accept CMYK and other color spaces in the artwork, but we usually get better results in RGB. NOTE: Prints from your printer will not match the output from our printer. Your customer needs to approve a proof from our printer.

Actual Print Size and Intended Substrate
Please specify the exact print size of the image requested as some artwork may get distorted when converting to a different file format. Letting us know the intended substrate will help us provide a more satisfactory print for you.

Variable Data Output
We offer variable data output. You can personalize each item with a name or special graphic. An example would be name badges for a convention. There is a fee of $15 for each field. The first line of your database should contain the names of the fields. Please provide data in comma delimited .txt file or in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

Artwork fees
Additional fees will be charged for editing the submitted artwork. This includes text editing, proofs, color matching and design work. A full color proof or PMS color number needs to be submitted with the artwork when color matching is requested. The artwork fee is $75 per hour with a 1 hour minimum charge. The customer pays any shipping charges for approvals of samples/proofs. If specifying the color from a known standard (like Pantone Matching System) is not suitable for your needs, please send us a hard copy proof* to:

Expedite Fee
If the request is quicker than our stated turn-around time for a given order, an expedite fee may be assessed. Please call for details.

Artwork Requirements for CMYK Offset Sublimation printed Mugs

Please complete the following checklist before submission of order to ensure all critical information has been provided.

*4-color process art is supplied at a minimum of 300dpi . All line art is supplied at a minimum of 600dpi.
*All images are at 100% of size.
*A high quality color match proof from the files used to create the final piece is provided.
*All 4-color images are supplied as CMYK: all spot colors must be identified and color breaks tagged.
*All files used to create final piece are included.
*Non-compressed files have been supplied.
*All screen and printer fonts are included.
*All copy is a minimum of 12 point type.
*Any narrow or seriff type has been made bold.
*All images have been proofed, color corrected and adjusted prior to submission.

MAC FORMAT:
*Adobe Photoshop CS2 or earlier (Fully layered, not flattened document)
*Adobe Illustrator CS2 or earlier (Create outlines of text)
*Adobe InDesign CS2 or earlier
*QuarkXpress 4.0/5.0/6.0 (preferably save as pdf editable file.)

PC FORMAT:
.tiff, .psd, and .eps. CMYK layers separated. If the file is a flat RGB version, we will convert to CMYK layers @ an artwork charge of $75 per hour.

Art on disk must have a color output or color match product provided.

HELPFUL HINTS
Because of differences in monitor calibration and flat-bed scanner calibration, there can be drastic differences between the image as it appears on the computer monitor and the final product. Artwork generated in a "RGB" format versus the "CMYK" format of the Four-Color print process may experience drastic color differences that we will not be held responsible for.
