Puzzles for Sublimation Imprinting
In 1767, a British mapmaker, John Spilsbury, glued some maps to pieces of wood and cut out each country and teachers started using them to teach geography to kids. Since then, puzzles have grown in popularity to be a key segment in the $2 billion games and toys market.Research suggests that a high percentage of the buyers for personalized puzzles tend to be women who preserve memories through the purchase of keepsakes. With that, personalized puzzles tend to be an impulse gift item when someone is looking for that special gift so merchandising them and pitching them in sales calls helps build the sales of them. Plus, large and small businesses are using jigsaw puzzles for product promotions since it's hard to resist putting one together and showing it to others.
To fill the market's need for personalized jigsaw puzzles, Unisub has launched five 1/8" high density hardboard jigsaw puzzles. All have great looking black edges that go with all artwork and finished puzzles can be placed in the stiff clear plastic envelopes that are packed in every case. Condé Cardboard Puzzles
Condé has assembled a collection of sturdy puzzles made with polyester coated cardboard. These puzzles are durable and easy to imprint with dye sublimation or heat transfer paper.
