Heat Press Instructions:
4" x 4" Tiles................6 Minutes
6" x 6" Tiles................7 Minutes

1) Print the transfer and, using heat tape, secure it to the tile.

2) Place a protective paper sheet onto the bottom rubber platen.

3) With heat tape or Pro Spray, affix the image to be transferred onto the face of the tile. Position the tile face up onto the protective paper.

4) Cover the face up tile with a 1/8" green heat conductive rubber pad.

5) Press according to the instructions in the above table.

Tumbled Stone is a quarried stone product that is very porous and must be sealed if used in water applications such as coasters, shower stalls or sink back-splashes.

The whiteness of the individual stones will vary from piece to piece and lot to lot. We do not recommend these tiles for murals, if you do attempt one, buy more tiles than needed so you can match color types.

For an “old world” look you can under expose the tile to heat. Simply press the tile face down onto the press...and shorten the dwell time to 3-4 minutes. Try it!

If you are mounting these tiles and want to use grout: Un-sanded grout should be used. Tiles can be cleaned with any household non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge.

You can press more than 1 tile at a time if you have 2 or more inches of empty space surrounding all four sides of the tile. Add 1 minute of dwell time for each additional tile used during an imprinting session. For example, to press four 4x4 tiles add 3 minutes for a total time of 11 minutes.

*Be careful with the timing, too long in the press may cause purplish discoloration.
