Adobe Photoshop™ is an incredibly feature-rich image editor that has the power to do anything you want. There are just two problems. First - do you know how to get what you want out of Photoshop? Second - do you have the time to do it in Photoshop? Regardless of your answer, plug-ins for Photoshop can help you accomplish what you want easier, faster and better than just using traditional tools alone.
Why do you need plug-ins? Can't Photoshop do anything and everything already? Well, yes and no. The answer is yes if you know how to use Photoshop to it's full potential - or at least the part that you need. Or the answer is no if you're new to Photoshop or just don't know yet how to do what it is you want to do. Photoshop is an amazing image editing application that has forever changed graphic design and digital photographic editing since 1990 when Adobe first shipped Photoshop 1.0. But like any tool, if you don't know how to use it, you can't get the most out of it.
Depending on your experience with Photoshop, you may or may not know where to go to create a mask with transparency or re-create a photographic effect or correct the color in a digital photograph. If you have the time to learn these things, we highly encourage you to do so as there is nothing better than learning something new. But every day, we talk to people - both new to, or experienced with, Photoshop - who tell us that they don't have the time to go through all of the steps needed to do something in Photoshop, or they don't have the time to learn it for any number of reasons.
This is where Photoshop Plug-Ins come in. Plug-Ins for Photoshop allow you to either do something that you cannot do with the features included in Photoshop or they allow you to do something easier, faster or better than you could do in Photoshop without the plug-in. Whether it is color correction, resizing, masking or creating an effect, you can find a Photoshop Plug-In that can help you be more efficient with your time so you can get back behind the camera.
Here, we present some of the Photoshop Plug-Ins by OnOne™ Software along with how they can help you maximize the power of Photoshop.
