The GX5050N printer combines the best qualities of inkjet and laser printing. It delivers laser-like color output for a very low cost per page. The output speed is equivalent to that of most laser printers, and far exceeds that of most ink jet printers.
The DyeTrans™ GX5050N is comparable to another desktop model offered by Condé, the Epson C120. Pricing is comparable, with the EZ Flow Ink Supply System, the C120 is the same pricing as the GX5050N, yet not as fast, nor as easy to set up and operate.
This new SubliJet-R system utilizes an ICC profile that gives users control over their image quality, color output and print options. Two profile options allowing users to choose which profile better suites their printing needs.
The built in high capacity paper tray holds up to 250 sheets of paper from letter to legal size. With the optional PFU tray, and the multi-bypass function, the printer is capable of holding a full ream of paper for hours of uninterrupted workflow.

The DyeTrans GX5050N is expandable by adding additional paper trays. The optional Paper Feed unit (P/N 405530) accepts paper up to 8.5"x14" and has a 500-sheet capacity. The Multi Bypass Tray (P/N 405529) has a 100-sheet capacity and also supports banners 8.5" wide, enabling the creation of transfers for signage, neckties and other long items (limited to 8.5" wide). Adding the additional trays creates three possible paper paths, enabling this wicked fast printer to load multiple paper paths for extended print runs, thereby increasing your shop output in such a way as to meet the demands of your business.

The Sawgrass® Sublimation ink solution is a next generation innovation, a GEL sublimation ink created for the GX5050N called SubliJet-R™. This cutting edge printer utilizes large cartridges, which contain 60ml of ink. You don't need to fool around with the bulk system anymore! A four-color printer means you only have to purchase 4 cartridges, enabling a savings in initial purchase ink cost. Easy Flow™ or Quick Connect™ systems are unnecessary as the ink delivery system is built-in.
